I got my hair cut today by Alyssa, the owner of The Beauty Bar—and it was such an amazing experience! I’ve never had a professional haircut before, so I didn’t realize what I was missing. Alyssa made me feel completely comfortable with her friendly, down-to-earth conversation and her ability to really listen to what I wanted while offering expert advice on what would look best. I had the pleasure of visiting the beauty bar for a one-hour scalp detox, and it was truly a rejuvenating experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the cozy ambiance and attentive service. The scalp detox itself was invigorating, and I could feel the tension melt away with each soothing massage and nourishing treatment. Not only did it leave my scalp feeling refreshed, but it also revitalized my overall well-being. I highly recommend this beauty bar for anyone looking to pamper themselves and indulge in some self-care. I'll definitely be returning for more treatments in the future!

So, this is an update as the scalp detox has progressed in the last year. It is truly an experience and my hair never looked or felt better. The best way to describeit is, it’s the self care I never knew I needed. So I have several different things to say…I moved up here from the city and finding this place was like finding a diamond in the rough! Alyssa is amazing with color a true artist what I would consider a master colorist. She is up on all the “in” cuts and styles and can get pretty close if not exact to a picture in a magazine. Also, I cannot sit still and relax at all. I am sure you are wondering “what does this have to do with a hair salon” let me tell you….The Beauty Bar is so much more then just a hair salon. They offer so many services BUT the scalp detox caught my attention and Intrigued me. I watched the videos that Alyssa posted and I knew my hair would benefit significantly from this treatment. I reluctantly made an appointment for 45 minutes detox scalp treatment. All I can say (I mean I said so much already) is I made my next appointment for an hour. It was AMAZING and honestly that’s putting it mildly. The immediate gratification of seeing the before and after of your scalp is SHOCKING and I was so relaxed! I am doing it for my scalp and hair, yes! However; it’s honestly more for my mental health as I can’t remember EVER feeling this relaxed AND peaceful if even only for an hour.
